With her creative/producing partner Nancy Fichman, Hoppe worked in the feature world, developing both original scripts and adapting novels and true crime stories for Paramount, DreamWorks, Universal, Warner Brothers, Jersey Films, FOX and Columbia Studios.
She made her foray into television with the first two seasons of Showtime’s hit series NURSE JACKIE, starring Edie Falco. That series was followed by DAMAGES, GRACE AND FRANKIE, and GET SHORTY, among others.
She toggles between comedy and drama, but finds that the sweet spot lies between the two.
Hoppe has sold and developed original pilots for HBO, FOX Television Network, Sony Television, TNT and others, and is a proud member of The Writers Guild of America.
